Terms of Service
Last updated: 19 August 2026
1. Who we are
This website (petbuddyinsurance.com, "the Site") is operated by Team Seven Marketing LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company ("PetBuddy Insurance", "we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the Site you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
2. What this Site is, and what it is not
The Site is an informational comparison and referral service for pet insurance products. We are not an insurer, an insurance producer, an agent, or a broker. We do not underwrite policies, bind coverage, determine premiums, adjudicate claims, or provide insurance advice.
Nothing on the Site constitutes an offer of insurance or a quote. Any quote, application, policy, premium, or coverage decision is made solely by the insurance provider you choose to deal with, under their own terms, and is subject to their underwriting and to the laws of your state.
3. About the pricing figures we show
Any prices, averages, or ranges shown on the Site are illustrative sample rates drawn from a single published third-party source, presented so that providers can be compared on a like-for-like basis. They are not quotes and are not personalised to you. Your actual price depends on your pet's breed, age, location, the coverage you select, and the provider's own underwriting.
We identify the source and the date of these figures on the page where they appear. Rates change, and figures may become out of date between our updates. Always confirm current pricing directly with the provider.
4. How we make money
We participate in affiliate programs. When you click through to certain providers from the Site and take a qualifying action, we may receive a commission. This comes at no additional cost to you and does not change the price you are offered.
Providers we have a commercial relationship with are labelled on the Site. Providers listed for comparison only, with no commercial relationship, are shown without a click-through link. Our full affiliate disclosure explains this in more detail and forms part of these Terms.
5. No professional advice
Content on the Site, including our guides, is general information only. It is not insurance, legal, financial, or veterinary advice, and it does not take account of your individual circumstances. You should not rely on it as the sole basis for any decision. Consider seeking advice from a licensed professional in your state before purchasing any insurance product.
6. Third-party sites
The Site links to websites we do not control. We are not responsible for the content, products, services, pricing, privacy practices, or conduct of any third-party site. Once you leave the Site, the third party's own terms and privacy policy govern your interaction with them. Linking to a provider is not an endorsement or a guarantee of the suitability of their products for you.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in breach of these Terms;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site or its systems;
- scrape, harvest, or systematically extract content from the Site by automated means without our written permission;
- interfere with, disrupt, or place undue load on the Site;
- misrepresent your identity or submit information you know to be false.
8. Intellectual property
The Site's content, design, text, graphics, and layout are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may view and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use. Any other reproduction, distribution, or commercial exploitation requires our prior written consent. Third-party names and marks that appear on the Site belong to their respective owners and are used for identification and comparison purposes only; their appearance does not imply any partnership, sponsorship, or endorsement beyond what is expressly disclosed.
9. Availability
We provide the Site on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that the information on it is complete, accurate, or current at any given moment. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time without notice.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site, your reliance on any information on it, or any dealings you have with a third-party provider.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Team Seven Marketing LLC and its officers and members from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Site or your breach of these Terms.
12. Privacy
Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. This does not deprive you of the protection of any mandatory consumer-protection laws of the jurisdiction in which you reside.
15. Contact
Questions about these Terms can be sent through our contact page.
