Affiliate disclosure

We believe in being straight with you about how PetBuddy Insurance stays free to use.
How we make money
PetBuddy Insurance is a reader-supported comparison service. Some of the links on this site are affiliate links. That means if you click through to a pet insurance provider and get a quote or purchase a policy, we may earn a commission from that insurer.
This comes at no additional cost to you. You pay exactly the same price you would if you'd gone to the insurer directly. The commission is paid by the insurer, not by you.
How this affects what you see
We match the plans we show you to the answers you give in our quiz — your pet's species, age, and what matters most to you. Commercial relationships do not determine whether a provider appears, and they do not change the price you are quoted.
That said, we're upfront that we have commercial relationships with some of the insurers we feature. We encourage you to do your own research and read each insurer's full policy terms before purchasing.
We are not an insurer
PetBuddy Insurance does not sell, underwrite, or administer insurance policies. We do not provide insurance, financial, or legal advice. All coverage, pricing, waiting periods, and exclusions are determined by the individual insurers, and can change at any time. Always confirm the details directly with the provider.
FTC compliance
This disclosure is provided in accordance with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's guidelines on endorsements and testimonials (16 CFR Part 255). If you have any questions about our affiliate relationships, you're welcome to contact us.
